How to Use AI Model Lab in Promeo
Pick an AI model for images or video, turn a photo into a clip on the web, then bring it back into Promeo.

Promeo's AI Model Lab puts a range of AI generators in one place, with a choice of model for each job: text to image, image to video and text to video. It runs on the web, so what you make there is downloaded and brought back into Promeo. We turned a photo of a pizza slice in space into a four-second clip.
- In Promeo, click AI Model Lab in the left menu, then the Image to Video card.
- On the web page that opens, click Start Now under Image to Video.
- Choose a model, upload your photo, and describe the motion.
- Set the mode, duration, aspect ratio and audio, then click Generate.
- Download the finished clip and import it into Promeo.
Steps to Use AI Model Lab
Step 1: Open AI Model Lab in Promeo
Click AI Model Lab in Promeo's left menu. The page holds three cards, Text to Image, Image to Video and Text to Video, each with a small arrow in its corner because it opens in your browser.
Read the line above the cards before you start: what you make in AI Model Lab has to be downloaded and imported into Promeo by hand. We clicked Image to Video.
Step 2: Start Image to Video on the Web
The browser opens AI Model Lab on MyEdit, CyberLink's web editor. It offers Image Generation, Video Generation and Image to Video, each with its own Select model list. Under Image to Video, click Start Now.
Step 3: Choose a Model, Upload a Photo, Describe the Motion
Select model at the top left is where the choice of model lives; each one handles motion a little differently, and the Inspiration tiles on the right show what each has made. Below it, upload your photo under Upload your photo. A Specify last frame switch sits beside it; we left it off.
On the Custom tab, describe what should happen. The counter under the box shows how much room the chosen model allows; ours took 2,000 characters. We wrote A pizza slice falls from space and lands perfectly on a plate, cheese stretches in slow motion, dramatic cinematic lighting.
Step 4: Set the Video, Then Generate
Video Settings holds four choices: Turbo or Pro mode, the clip's duration, the aspect ratio (16:9, 9:16 or 1:1), and audio on or off. We kept Turbo, 4 seconds, 16:9 and audio on.
The badge on Generate shows the credits the run will use, and it changes with what you pick. Click it.
Step 5: Wait, Then Bring It Into Promeo
Your photo uploads first, then a card appears under Recent Gen with the clip's length and an estimate of the time left. Stay on the page while it works. When it finishes, click the card to play it.
Download the clip, then import it into your Promeo project as you would any video. That last hop is manual, as the note on Promeo's AI Model Lab page says.
The Result
The clip at the top of this page follows the description closely: the slice drops out of a starry sky trailing fire, strings of cheese stretch as it touches down, and the camera pushes in on the plate with the Earth and the northern lights behind. Four seconds at 16:9, ready to cut into an ad or a post.
