In a hurry? Use the AI Banner Maker quick guide instead.
Promeo's AI Banner Maker is for the afternoon you need a banner and do not have a designer: a Facebook cover, a LinkedIn header, a campaign strip for the top of your shop. You hand it a topic, one image (yours, or one it draws for you), and a few keywords, and it comes back with a page of finished layouts built at the pixel size each platform wants.

- In Promeo, click AI Banner Maker in the tool row along the top.
- Type your subject into Your topic / product name, then either describe the picture you want or tick Use your own image and drop a photo in.
- Choose a size under Aspect ratio of your design, add Keywords of your topic, and click Generate with Cloud.
- Look through the batch that comes back and pick the design you want.
- Hover it, click Edit to adjust the layers, then Export.
Steps to Use AI Banner Maker
Step 1: Open AI Banner Maker
Banners are their own tool in Promeo rather than a folder of templates you have to size-match by hand, so start by clicking AI Banner Maker in the tool row across the top of the Home screen. The whole brief fits on the screen that opens, and there is no project to create first. That is the part worth knowing before you start: this is a one-screen job.

Step 2: Name Your Topic and Choose Your Image
The form wants two things before it will generate anything: what the banner is about, and what should be in the picture. The first one is quick. Type your subject into Your topic / product name, which is capped at 30 characters because it becomes the headline on the banner. Ours was Interior Design Studio. The picture half is where you get a real choice, and neither route is the shortcut version.
Describe the image
Write the shot you wish you had and Promeo draws it, then builds the banner around it. Good for a mood image, or a product that has not been photographed.
Use your own image
Drop in a photo you already have. Promeo lifts the product off its background and places it into each design.
Option A: Describe the Image You Want
Leave Use your own image unticked and the field underneath is a description box with 150 characters to play with. Write it the way you would brief a photographer: a bottle of sunscreen lying flat on sand, a mug on a windowsill in morning light. Promeo generates that image and lays the banner out around it, which is the route to take when there is no usable product shot on your drive yet.

Option B: Use a Photo You Already Have
Got a product shot? Tick Use your own image and that same field turns into a drop zone. We used one studio photo of a cream boucle armchair on a plain background. A clean, uncluttered shot pays off here, because Promeo cuts the product out and drops it onto whatever backdrop each design calls for, and a busy background gives it more to get wrong.

Step 3: Pick a Banner Size and Add Keywords
Scroll down the same panel and the sizes are listed as real places rather than raw numbers, so you choose by where the banner is going. The shaded tile is how you can tell which one is selected; we took the campaign banner.
| Size | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| 852 x 315 | Facebook Page Cover |
| 1640 x 924 | Facebook Group Cover |
| 1584 x 396 | LinkedIn Cover |
| 2240 x 1260 | Campaign Banner |
Underneath, Keywords of your topic takes a comma separated list, and it earns its keep: ours read interior design, modern, sofa, minimal, living room, home decor, and those words are what the subhead and body line get written from. Set Language, then click Generate with Cloud.

Step 4: Look Through the Batch
You do not get one banner back, you get a page of them: same topic, same chair, different backgrounds, type treatments, and product placement. Ours came back with a warm amber sweep, a gray marble version, and a row of pastel ones underneath. Hover any design and two buttons appear, Generate More to add a fresh set to the bottom of the page and Edit to open that one up. Nothing is locked in at this point, so click around before you settle.

Step 5: Edit and Export
Editing opens the banner in Promeo's design editor, and everything in it is still a separate piece: headline, subhead, body line, the cut-out chair, and the background each sit on their own layer, so you can retype a line or nudge the product without rebuilding the design. When it reads right, click Export at the top left and pick your format. The banner keeps the shape of the preset you chose, so it goes into the platform's uploader without a crop.
